Mission Statement
The Maine Songwriters Association is a state-wide,
non-profit, member organization dedicated to the support
of songwriters and their art. The MSA mission is to
encourage, recognize, educate, support and promote
developing songwriters
· To
encourage developing songwriters and celebrate the art
of songwriting;
· To provide
information and assistance to members;
· To create
performance and recognition opportunities for members;
· To provide
opportunities for the professional development of
members;
· To enable
members to meet and/or exchange ideas and information
· To
facilitate member transition into the established music
industry;
· To
facilitate delivery of member services at National &
Regional levels.
