Songwriting, singing and performing have been Dan’s staples for the last 15 years. He has brought his highly contagious grooves of Acoustic-Americana-Roots Music to the stages of many festivals, summer music series, pubs, restaurants & cafes across the country and has shared these same stages with many great regional and national acts.
He started learning the art and trade of music at a very early age. His first lessons were in piano at the age of 6 and with training from his father; Dan was thumping on the bass guitar by the age of 8. Since then, many bands and combinations of musicians have worked together to bring his original songs to new heights.
Dan Walker is widely known to have an incredible soulful voice and an unmatched, outstanding live performance to go with it! Folk, rock and blues based, his music has enjoyed audiences in 15 states and produced 2 full length independent releases. He’s a damn nice guy and a ‘killer’ on the guitar. From New England, via the 'Crossroads of America' to the Rocky Mts. of Colorado and Wyoming, keep an ear in tune and hold two thumbs out for a Dan Walker show coming to town! |
