Michaela has been writing and composing songs on the piano since she was six years old. She writes the lyrics, composes the music, and creates lead sheets for all her songs. She is also now producing her own music. Michaela has a large catalog of original songs. One of her songs, "Comprehend", was a finalist in the 2008 International Songwriting Competition. The competition had over 15,500 entrants from over 100 countries. Her song was in the top 15 and received "Honorable Mention" in the “Teen” category. Another song, “Don’t Have a Raincheck” was a Semi-Finalist in the “Teen” category of the 2009 International Songwriting Competition. Also, her song “Turn Up The Music” was a Finalist in the “Dance/Electronic” category of the 2009 Song Of The Year, Song And Lyric Competition.
Michaela is a trained vocalist, and performs her songs as well as cover songs. She has made several appearances as a featured performer in the Los Angeles area and also at various benefit concerts across the country. She is also a featured singer on Dance Dance Revolution games for the Wii. Michaela started acting professionally on stage at five years old, and made her TV debut as a co-star on the Nickelodeon show iCarly at nine. She also dances hip hop with adult professional dancers. Michaela loves to let the world see, hear, and feel the music she is making!!! She is currently working on new music projects and a performance schedule.
Michaela has a large catalog of original songs (lyrics and music), all of which are protected by copyright and registered with her publishing company, Beat Of The Tigress, LLC. A couple of her songs have been placed with different organizations, and others are out for possible placement. All of her songs are available for consideration and use by others, or to rerecord. Michaela is also available to write songs (lyrics and/or music) for other artists or projects, including TV, commercial, film, etc... She also offers music transcription (notation) services for anyone who needs lead sheets (scores) for particular songs or projects.
